Stuck on the M11 southbound for over 1 hour not sure what the problem is as I can’t find anything on this.

There is never consistency about when roadworks are to be planned. The website adds and drops details. It is also very hard to read. Also, yellow signs put up by the motorway DO NOT correspond to what you have on the website. Since traffic ends up getting diverted into CAmbridge (without residents being properly notified or , it seems, the city council). This is not acceptable. I have emailed about this before but you did not reply.
There is no mention of night closures between Junction 7 and 8 on M11. However, last night Tuesday 22nd March the Northbound carriageway was blocked off at Junction 7 for Harlow diverting traffic towards Harlow. Then the road between Harlow and Bishops Stortford was also blocked off – diverting traffic via Old Harlow and Sheering through dark, narrow winding lanes. I have trouble seeing in the dark with lights coming towards me so would not have started out on my journey if road closures had been shown. I check this site every evening before I travel to ensure there are no closures.
I have just come back along the M11 in daylight and there is a clear sign up saying night closures between Friday 25th March and Monday 28th March. However again this is not shown on your website. News of Northbound closures between J7 – J8 just seem to have disappeared?????
