What’s going on between j12-j13 on the A14, its been closed off regulary for around four months now

We are NOT National Highways, this is stated on our website here, apologies if you assumed we were.
Constantly closing the A14 at night is now beyond acceptable. At least if it was from midnight instead of 8pm that would be more helpful to us commuters who have to drive between work and family. I mean, 8pm! What the hell!?? This rolls on and on….
No mention of the 30 minute tail back incurred at -07.35 to 08.05 on the Eastbound lane of the A14 on 4th October at the A14 Woolley Lane road junction that involved a black mercedes….cost me half an hour waiting time Ambulance, Police and recovery vehicle in attendance….but not a whisper.
Or the two broken down lorries causing a set of massive tailbacks on the Huntingdon bypass route.
Is there any chance that somewhere, quite prominently on the site, we could have a “Last updated at” so that we do not need to read through every entry, only to find that nothing has changed? It is a very useful website, but with so much info it takes a long time to check for any changes.

There was no warning coming west from Aldeburgh, to join the A14 from Coddenham, and nothing in the Google maps instructions to indicate a problem. Chaos trying to follow what few diversion signs you have. Google consistently tried to keep taking me back to the A14. Can you not communicate with them to keep them up to date with significant closures?
In the end I stopped in a layby and told my Google maps app that I wanted to get to Cambridge via Lavenham and Clare etc. If I hadn’t explored the area in the past, I could have been completely stuck and might have had to sleep in the car overnight. Dangerous.
Thanks to your poor signage and inadequate communication in the media it took me 3 1/2 hours to get home. Lucky that I had filled up with petrol before doing the journey the other way earlier in the day. Also had my charge for my phone in the car. Must remember to pack a blanket and bottles of water for the next time.
Disgraceful way of “managing” roadworks.
Yes, it is total dogsh*t. And closing the road at 8pm makes it even worse. Its the main artirial route between down to the East and yet it is deemed acceptable to contine shutting this vital road at unreasonable times. The diversion signs are a joke. Satnav will keep trying to put you back into the A14. Enough of this crap.

NOT HELPFUL. COMING FROM NORTHAMPTONSHRE to Ipswich Diversion led towards PETERBOROUGH. Now diverted down A1 towards Cambridge but A14 closed. hopefully Felixstowe signage. helps.Been travelling for an hour already. Heading towards J22. Fingers crossed and started with a full tank of petrol.
A14 to M1 Junction – Night closures?
A14 junction 38 heading towards ipswich, there is a 6-car crash, no one injured by looks of it. Police on scene. Causing delays.
Just got in to Cambridge from Huntingdon. I know that diversions are necessary, but current signage is both inadequate and often contradictory. Impossible to find a way from Bar Hill to Cambridge until I found a helpful cashier at the Tesco garage, who advised following signs to Willingham. The word Diversion if the road is closed in both directions does not help on its own – I would have ended up going North again. Had the same trouble a week ago, but this time the road closure was around Fen Drayton, so the route was entirely different -and again, I would not have found it without local knowledge of he back roads.
A14 eastbound just after my ends is stand still. Been sat in car 30 mins and not managed a single mile. Don’t believe this website which states no issues.
