Latest flood alert advice from the Environment Agency: High river levels today may lead to flooding. Flooding is possible on 12 January 2026 due to overnight rain and snow melt. Flooding may affect low lying land and Squires Walk in the area of the Hatfield Brook Kempsey. Kempsey Flood Alleviation Scheme is currently operational from 12/01/2026. Predicted peak:- Kempsey Yacht Club 5.6m to 5.8m 12/01 PM. We are closely monitoring the situation . Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses . This message will be updated by 10:00AM on 13 January 2026 or as the situation changes.
