Latest flood alert advice from the Environment Agency: River levels remain high due to recent rainfall and the risk of flooding continues. Flooding is possible on 10 December 2025. Flooding may affect low lying land and roads adjacent to the river from Wolverley to Newport. Other locations that may be affected include Market Drayton, Wem, and Rodington. We are closely monitoring the situation. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. This message will be updated by 10:00AM on 11 December 2025 or as the situation changes
