Latest flood alert advice from the Environment Agency: High tides, strong winds and large waves this evening may lead to flooding. Flooding is possible 19:00pm to 23:00pm on 02.07.2026 Areas most at risk are around Hunstanton seafront. Flood gates in the area will be closed by the Local Authority which will make access difficult. The detailed forecast is for a peak level at King’s Lynn of 3.35mAODN at 21:00pm on 02 July 2026, Wind Force 5, Westerly. We are not expecting the situation to escalate, or to issue any further warning messages at this time. We are closely monitoring the situation . Avoid beaches and coastal promenades, which may be flooded . This message will be updated by 10:00AM on 03 July 2026 or as the situation changes.
