Latest flood alert advice from the Environment Agency: High river levels overnight have led to flooding.Flooding may affect low-lying land and roads adjacent to the River Avon between Stanford and Rugby, River Swift between Cosford and Rugby and Clay Coton Brook between Yelvertoft and Lilbourne. Locations most affected will be low lying land and roads near rivers. We are closely monitoring the situation . Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses .
