Description of Incident
Engineering work is taking place between Peterborough and London Kings Cross, closing all lines.
Grand Central:
No trains between Sunderland / Bradford Interchange and London Kings Cross will run on Saturday or Sunday.
Great Northern / Thameslink:
Buses will replace trains between:
- Hitchin and Royston and also Hitchin and Peterborough
- Bedford and Peterborough via St Neots
- Luton Airport Parkway and Stevenage via Hitchin
- St Albans City and Stevenage via Hatfield
- Hertford North and Stevenage
- Potters Bar and Hitchin
An amended train service will run between:
- Royston, Cambridge, Ely and Kings Lynn
- Moorgate, Hertford North and Potters Bar
- London Kings Cross and Potters Bar
- Finsbury Park, Brighton and Horsham (Saturday only)
Ticket Acceptance:
Your tickets will be accepted at no extra cost:
- Thameslink between Bedford and London
- Greater Anglia between Cambridge North and London Liverpool Street
Paper rail tickets will be accepted at no extra cost on:
- Elizabeth line services between Farringdon and London Liverpool Street
- London Buses by any reasonable route
- London Underground between Kings Cross St Pancras and London Liverpool Street / Tottenham Hale
Hull Trains:
It is not yet known how Hull Trains will be affected by this engineering work.
LNER:
No services will run between Peterborough and London Kings Cross. Trains will start or terminate at Peterborough.
An amended train service will run between:
- Peterborough and Doncaster / Leeds / Bradford Forster Square / Harrogate
- Peterborough and York / Newcastle / Edinburgh / Dundee / Aberdeen / Inverness
Rail replacement bus services will run between Bedford and Peterborough to connect with alternative train services to / from London.
Lumo:
Lumo will run an amended and reduced service between Newcastle and Edinburgh only.
No trains will run between London Kings Cross and Newcastle.
