Description of Incident

Engineering work is taking place between Mirfield and Stalybridge, closing all lines. As a result, some TransPennine Express services will be diverted to run via Hebden Bridge.

To accommodate these diverted trains, Northern will run a reduced train service between Halifax and Todmorden. Trains that usually run between Leeds and Manchester Victoria / Wigan Wallgate / Wigan North Western via Dewsbury will run between Leeds and Halifax, and between Todmorden and Manchester Victoria / Wigan Wallgate / Wigan North Western only.

You can use alternative Northern trains between Halifax and Todmorden at no extra cost.
