Rail Disruption Southern Status | Buses replace late night / end of service trains between Haywards Heath / Lewes and Eastbourne from Monday 20 to Friday 24 April

Description of Incident

Engineering work is taking place between Haywards Heath and Lewes / Eastbourne, closing some lines.

From approximately 21:00 until the end of service on Monday to Thursday evenings, buses will replace trains between Haywards Heath and Lewes / Eastbourne. Some buses will depart Eastbourne earlier to connect with trains from Lewes towards London.

The 01:08 (on Tuesday to Friday mornings) Haywards Heath to Eastbourne train will not run. A replacement bus will run from Haywards Heath to Lewes / Eastbourne.

Please note that journey times will be extended when using rail replacement transport.
