Description of Incident

Engineering work is taking place between Hackney Downs and Chingford, closing all lines overnight from Monday evening until Friday morning.

After 23:00 each night, buses will replace trains will run between Hackney Downs and Chingford.

Ticket acceptance:

If you have a National Rail paper ticket or e-ticket, you can use your ticket at no extra cost on the following operators’ services:

  • Mildmay line to / from Hackney Central and London Bus route 253 for Clapton

If you are using contactless payment / Oyster card, you can also use the above alternative travel options but you will be required to pay the normal tap in / tap out fares for your journey.
