CrossCountry:
Rail replacement services will operate between Leeds, Darlington, Durham and Newcastle.
Alternative rail services will run between Leeds and York.

The following services will be amended:
- 08:32 Sunderland to London Kings Cross will start from York at 10:13
- 17:00 London Kings Cross to Sunderland will terminate at York
The following services will not run:
- 06:44 Sunderland to London Kings Cross
- 10:32 Sunderland to London Kings Cross
- 15:00 London Kings Cross to Sunderland
- 19:25 London Kings Cross to Sunderland
Sunday:
The following services will be amended:
- 08:37 Sunderland to London Kings Cross will start from York at 10:10
- 19:00 London Kings Cross to Sunderland will terminate at York
The following services will not run:
- 10:30 Sunderland to London Kings Cross
- 12:30 Sunderland to London Kings Cross
- 15:00 London Kings Cross to Sunderland
- 17:00 London Kings Cross to Sunderland
LNER:
A revised service will run between Newcastle and Edinburgh or will run via a diversionary route around the Durham Coast.
Rail replacement Services will be in place but will only call at Northallerton on Saturday . Newcastle semi-fast trains will start and terminate at York.
Lumo:
An amended and reduced service will run between Newcastle and Edinburgh / Glasgow Queen Street only.
Northern:
Trains will start / terminate at Eaglescliffe.
Buses will be provided between Eaglescliffe and Bishop Auckland and between Darlington and Newcastle via Durham and Chester-le-Street.
TransPennine Express:
Saturday:
Rail replacement buses will operate between York and Newcastle.
Trains to / from Redcar Central will run as normal.
Sunday:
Rail replacement buses will operate between:
- York and Newcastle
- Northallerton and Newcastle
Trains to / from Redcar Central will not call at Northallerton.
