Between Manchester Piccadilly / Shrewsbury and Swansea, and between Cardiff Central and Carmarthen / Fishguard Harbour, and also between Swansea and Carmarthen / Llandovery.

Description of Incident

Engineering work is taking place in the Swansea area, closing some lines.

Monday to Thursday:

  • The 18:35 Shrewsbury to Swansea service will run up to 15 minutes earlier between Llandeilo and Swansea
  • The 21:46 Fishguard Harbour to Cardiff Central service will be diverted via the Swansea District Line
  • The 23:20 Cardiff Central to Carmarthen service will be diverted via the Swansea District Line. Rail replacement buses will run between Port Talbot Parkway and Swansea and also between Swansea and Carmarthen
  • The 23:48 Swansea to Carmarthen service will not run and will be bus replaced throughout

Tuesday to Friday:

  • The 04:38 Carmarthen to Swansea service will not run and will be bus replaced throughout
  • The 05:13 Swansea to Llandovery service will now start from Llanelli at 05:27. An earlier rail replacement bus will operate at 04:55 from Swansea, arriving to Llanelli at 05:25
  • The 05:43 Swansea to Manchester Piccadilly service will now start from Cardiff Central at 06:46. An earlier rail replacement bus will operate at 04:49 from Swansea, arriving to Cardiff Central at 06:36 to connect with the train
