Description of Incident

Engineering work is taking place between Radyr and Ninian Park, closing all lines.

No trains will run between Radyr and Ninian Park for the duration.

On Saturday and Monday:

Services will be diverted between Radyr and Cardiff Queen Street, calling additionally at Llandaf and Cathays. Services between Aberdare and Ninian Park will be diverted to run via Cardiff Central. Services between Merthyr Tydfil and Aberdare will run between Merthyr Tydfil and Cardiff Central only.

On Sunday:

All services via Radyr will start / terminate at Cardiff Central.

On Monday only:

The following services will not run, and be replaced with buses:

  • 21:45 Cardiff Central to Aberdare
  • 22:45 Cardiff Central to Aberdare
  • 22:52 Aberdare to Cardiff Central via Ninian Park
  • 21:30 Cardiff Central to Merthyr Tydfil
  • 22:37 Merthyr Tydfil to Cardiff Central

The 22:26 Cardiff Central to Merthyr Tydfil service will terminate at Pontypridd. A replacement bus service will run between Pontypridd and Merthyr Tydfil.
