Description of Incident

Engineering work is taking place overnight between Cardiff Central and Bridgend via Pontyclun, closing some lines.

As a result, from approximately 22:20 until the end of service Monday to Thursday evenings, no Transport for Wales trains will run between Cardiff Central and Bridgend via Pontyclun.

Services between Cardiff Central and Carmarthen / Pembroke Dock / Milford Haven / Fishguard Harbour will be diverted between Cardiff Central and Bridgend via Barry (along the Vale of Glamorgan line).

Replacement bus services will run between Cardiff Central and Bridgend via Pontyclun, calling at all stops.
