Description of Incident

Engineering work is taking place overnight between Shrewsbury and Crewe, closing some lines.

The following service amendments will be in place:

Monday:

  • 21:55 Cardiff Central to Crewe will divert via Wrexham General / Chester. Rail replacement transport is in place between Shrewsbury and Crewe, calling at all stops.

Tuesday / Wednesday:

  • 04:54 Crewe to Cardiff Central will now depart 04:23, and divert via Chester / Wrexham General.
  • 05:28 Shrewsbury to Crewe will now depart 05:45.

Thursday:

  • 04:54 Crewe to Cardiff Central will now depart 04:23, and divert via Chester / Wrexham General.
  • 05:28 Shrewsbury to Crewe will now depart 05:45.
  • 21:55 Cardiff Central to Crewe will divert via Wrexham General / Chester. Rail replacement transport is in place between Shrewsbury and Crewe, calling at all stops.

Friday:

  • 04:54 Crewe to Cardiff Central will now depart 04:23, and divert via Chester / Wrexham General.
  • 05:28 Shrewsbury to Crewe will now depart 05:45.
