Description of Incident

Engineering work is taking place in the Cardiff area, closing various lines throughout the day.

Before 12:30:

Buses replace trains between:

  • Cardiff Central and Pontypridd via Cardiff Queen Street.
  • Cardiff Central and Caerphilly / Rhymney.

No trains to / from Cardiff Bay. You can use your tickets on Cardiff Bus.

Between 12:30 and 20:00:

Trains between Cardiff Central and Pontypridd / Aberdare / Treherbert / Merthyr Tydfil will be diverted to run via Fairwater instead of via Llandaf.

Buses replace trains between Cardiff Central and Heath High Level / Caerphilly.

Trains will run between Heath High Level and Rhymney.

No trains to / from Cardiff Bay. You can use your tickets on Cardiff Bus.
