Description of Incident

Engineering work is taking place overnight on some platforms in Cardiff Central station, closing some lines.

The following trains will be amended:

Sunday

The 19:30 Manchester Piccadilly to Swansea will be diverted via Llantwit Major and run later to Swansea.

The 21:16 Carmarthen to Hereford will be diverted via Llantwit Major and run later to Hereford.

The 22:30 Cardiff to Carmarthen will be diverted via Llantwit Major and run later to Carmarthen.

Monday

The 05:43 Swansea to Manchester Piccadilly will start at Cardiff.

Monday to Thursday

The 20:38 Milford Haven to Cardiff Central will be diverted via Llantwit Major and run later to Cardiff Central

The 21:46 Fishguard to Cardiff Central will be diverted via Llantwit Major and run later to Cardiff Central.

The 22:52 Aberdare to Cardiff Central will divert via Cardiff Queen Street with bus connection from Radyr to Cardiff Central missing stops.

The 23:16 Cardiff Central to Maesteg will not run and will be replaced with bus services through to Bridgend and Maesteg.

The 23:20 Cardiff Central to Carmarthen will be diverted via Llantwit Major with bus connection from Cardiff Central to Bridgend via Pontclun.

Tuesday to Friday

The 05:43 Swansea to Manchester Piccadilly will start forward at Cardiff Central.
