Description of Incident

Engineering work is taking place overnight between Chester and Warrington Quay Bank / Manchester Piccadilly, closing some lines.

Tuesday to Thursday

  • The 19:42 Llandudno Junction to Manchester Airport service will terminate at Warrington Bank Quay. A replacement bus service will run from Warrington Bank Quay to Manchester Piccadilly.
  • The 21:09 Birmingham International to Manchester Piccadilly service will terminate at Chester. A replacement bus service will run from Chester to Manchester Piccadilly.
  • The 21:52 Chester to Manchester Airport service will terminate at Warrington Bank Quay. A replacement bus service will run from Warrington Bank Quay to Manchester Piccadilly.
  • The 23:20 Manchester Airport to Holyhead service will start from Chester. A replacement bus service will run from Manchester Piccadilly and Chester.

Wednesday to Friday

  • The 00:26 Manchester Piccadilly to Chester service will not run. A replacement bus service will run from Manchester Piccadilly to Chester.
  • The 03:51 Chester to Manchester Airport service will not run. A replacement bus service will run from Chester to Manchester Piccadilly.
  • The 04:55 Chester to Manchester Airport service will depart later than usual at 05:02.
  • The 05:25 Manchester Airport to Llandudno Junction service will start from Warrington Bank Quay. A replacement bus service will run from Manchester Piccadilly to Warrington Bank Quay.
