Description of Incident

Engineering work is taking place between Crewe and Shrewsbury, closing all lines overnight from Monday evening until Friday morning.

Monday to Thursday:

The 21:35 Cardiff Central to Chester service will be diverted to run via Wrexham General. A replacement bus will run between Crewe and Shrewsbury.

The 22:21 Cardiff Central to Crewe service will terminate at Shrewsbury. A replacement bus will run from Shrewsbury to Crewe.

Tuesday to Friday:

The 04:22 Chester to Birmingham International service will be diverted to run via Wrexham General.

The 05:13 Crewe to Cardiff Central service will be retimed to start at 04:41, and will be diverted to run via Chester with extended journey times.

The 05:19 Crewe to Shrewsbury service will be replaced by a bus throughout.
