Thameslink between Bedford and Brighton, between Luton / St Albans City / London Blackfriars and Sutton, between Kentish Town and Rainham, and also between Cambridge and Brighton

Description of Incident

Engineering work is taking place all day on Sunday between London Blackfriars / London Bridge and East Croydon, closing some lines.

The following services are affected:

  • Services between Bedford and Horsham / Brighton will be diverted between London Blackfriars and East Croydon, will not call at London Bridge, and will be subject to extended journey times.
  • Services between Cambridge and Brighton will instead run between Cambridge and London Kings Cross only.
  • Services between Kentish Town and Rainham will instead run between Plumstead and Rainham only. Tickets for this service will be accepted on Southeastern services between London Bridge and Plumstead, and on Elizabeth line services between Farringdon and Abbey Wood.
  • Services between Luton / London Blackfriars and Sutton via Wimbledon will be retimed.
  • Services between Luton / London Blackfriars and Sutton via Mitcham Junction will run a reduced service. Tickets for this service will be accepted on Southern services to / from London Victoria to complete your journey.
