between Bedford and Gatwick Airport / Three Bridges / Horsham / Brighton, between Luton / London Blackfriars and Sutton (London), between St Albans City and Gillingham (Kent), between Cambridge and Gatwick Airport / Brighton, between West Hampstead Thameslink / Kentish Town and Rainham (Kent), and also between London Bridge and Rainham (Kent) / Brighton

Description of Incident

Engineering work is taking place all day on Sunday between London Blackfriars / London Bridge and East Croydon, closing various lines.

The following alterations will apply to Thameslink services:

  • Services between Bedford / Cambridge and Three Bridges / Horsham / Brighton will be diverted between London Blackfriars and East Croydon. These trains will not call at London Bridge
  • Services between Kentish Town and Rainham will run between Plumstead and Rainham only
  • Services between Luton / London Blackfriars and Sutton via Mitcham Junction will not run. Additionally, trains between Luton / London Blackfriars and Sutton via Wimbledon will run to an amended timetable

You can use your tickets at no extra cost on the following services:

  • Elizabeth line trains between Farringdon and Abbey Wood
  • London Underground / Docklands Light Railway for travel between London Bridge and Woolwich Arsenal
  • Southeastern trains between London Bridge and Plumstead
  • Southern trains to / from London Victoria
