Description of Incident
Engineering work is taking place between Redhill and Tonbridge, closing all lines throughout the day from 02:00 on Saturday 16 until 05:00 on Tuesday 26 August. Background information on this 10 day line closure can be found below.
Between these times, buses will replace trains between Redhill and Tonbridge.
Background Information:
During the 10 day line closure, Network Rail will renew 13 miles of high voltage power cables, protect the track from landslips, replace worn-out rails near Edenbridge and undertake maintenance works to improve the resilience of railway structures and equipment.
