Description of Incident

Engineering work is taking place between Bickley and Rochester all day, closing all the lines through Swanley.

Southeastern:

Sole Street Line: Trains between London Victoria and Ramsgate via Chatham and will be diverted to run non stop between London Victoria and Strood. At Faversham a portion of the train will be attached detached to run between Faversham and Dover Priory. Stopping services between London Victoria and Dover Priory via Denmark Hill will not run.

Maidstone East Line: Trains between London Victoria and Ashford International via Maidstone East will only run between Borough Green & Wrotham and Ashford International.

Additional trains will run between London Victoria and Bromley South via Denmark Hill.

Accessible replacement buses will run between:

  • Bromley South and Strood calling at all stations except Sole Street
  • Bromley South and Borough Green & Wrotham
  • A minibus will run between Meopham and Sole Street*

    *If you are travelling to or from Sole Street and have additional assistance requirements we recommend you contact Southeastern accessible travel team, send #Assist to 07866 002960 on WhatsApp or use the help point at the station so Southeastern can ensure appropriate transport is available for you.

The following Southeastern stations will be closed all day and will only be served by replacement buses:

  • St Mary Cray
  • Swanley
  • Farningham Road
  • Longfield
  • Meopham
  • Sole Street
  • Eynsford
  • Shoreham (Kent)
  • Otford
  • Bat & Ball

Thameslink:

All day on Sunday, buses will replace trains between Bromley South and Sevenoaks via Swanley.

Thameslink services to / from Sevenoaks will be diverted via Petts Wood, calling additionally at Petts Wood and Orpington, and will run to an amended timetable.
