Description of Incident
Engineering work is taking place between Ebbsfleet International and Ashford International, closing all lines from 23:00.
From approximately 23:00, accessible buses will replace trains between Ebbsfleet International and Maidstone East, and between Maidstone East and Ashford International. Connecting trains will run between Ashford International and Ramsgate via Dover Priory, and between Ashford International and Margate via Canterbury West.
Trains between London St Pancras International and Ramsgate / Margate via Ashford International will be diverted to run via Faversham.
If you are travelling from London St Pancras International, Stratford or Ebbsfleet International to the following stations, you will need to use the replacement buses from Ebbsfleet International and Ashford International via Maidstone East:
- Canterbury West
- Thanet Parkway
- Folkestone West
- Folkestone Central
- Dover Priory
- Martin Mill
- Walmer
- Deal
- Sandwich
The following additional trains will run between London Charing Cross and Ashford International, calling at Waterloo East and London Bridge:
- The 23:20 Ashford International to London Charing Cross
- The 00:40 (Sunday) London Charing Cross to Ashford International
- The 23:50 London St Pancras International to Faversham via Gravesend train will be retimed to depart later, at 00:12 (Sunday)
Alternative travel options:
- You can use London Underground, Elizabeth line or Docklands Light Railway between central London and Stratford at no extra cost to connect with the additional trains at London Charing Cross, Waterloo East and London Bridge
