Description of Incident
Major engineering work is taking place between Dingwall and Georgemas Junction, closing all lines throughout June (background information can be found below).

Monday 9 June to Sunday 29 June:
Inverness – Invergordon / Tain / Ardgay / Lairg / Wick:
Buses will replace trains between Inverness and Invergordon / Tain / Ardgay / Lairg / Wick.
Please note: Rail replacement buses will not serve Altnabreac or Scotscalder.
A limited amount of train services will run between Inverness and Dingwall only, calling at intermediate stations
Inverness – Kyle of Lochalsh:
Train services operate as normal
Additionally:
Sunday 8 June:
- 17:54 Inverness to Wick will terminate at Dingwall. A replacement bus will run from Inverness to Wick, leaving Inverness at 17:54
Please note: the following services are also cancelled and replaced by bus:
Monday 30 June:
- 06:18 Wick to Inverness
- 08:02 Wick to Inverness

Background Information:
Network Rail will be carrying out an £11.5 million project to significantly improve the Far North Line during June. The work will increase reliability of rail services for passengers by refurbishing a 5 mile stretch of track between Brora and Helmsdale and replacing almost 9 miles of track between Invergordon and Fearn.
