Description of Incident
There are yellow and amber weather warnings associated with Storm Claudia in place today, Friday 14 November, across parts of Wales.
The poor weather is expected to cause disruption to services running across the Transport for Wales network.
Please check your entire journey in full before you travel. You can also view a live map of the Transport for Wales network.
Current weather related disruptions:
North Llanrwst and Blaenau Ffestiniog
Buses will replace between North Llanrwst and Blaenau Ffestiniog until the end of the day. These will be provided by Carmel travel and will run as follows:
- 13:48 all stops North Llanrwst to Blaenau Festiniog
- 14:34 all stops Blaenau Festiniog to North Llanrwst
- 14:34 all stops Blaenau Festiniog to North Llanrwst
- 16:45 all stops North Llanrwst to Blaenau Festiniog
- 17:31 all stops Blaenau Festiniog to North Llanrwst
- 19:42 all stops North Llanrwst to Blaenau Festiniog
- 20:27 all stops Blaenau Festiniog to North Llanwrst
Road transport will take longer than rail services. Please allow extra time to complete your journey.
Manchester Airport to Llandudno / Holyhead / Chester
Manchester Airport to Llandudno / Holyhead / Chester services may start / terminate from Warrington Bank Quay or be cancelled in full until the end of the day.
Your ticket can be used at no extra cost on Northern services from 15:00 between Warrington Bank Quay and Manchester.
Caerphilly and Rhymney
Trains running between Caerphilly and Rhymney may be cancelled, delayed by up to 40 minutes or revised due to a tree blocking the railway. As a result, trains may have to run at a reduced speed in the area. Transport for Wales are advising to NOT travel on this route. Disruption is expected until 14:15.
