Description of Incident
Engineering work is taking place in the Cardiff Central area, closing various lines.
Cardiff Central – Radyr:
Monday to Thursday:
The following trains will be diverted, and will not run via Fairwater (City line):
- The 21:39 Merthyr Tydfil to Aberdare service
- The 21:52 Aberdare to Cardiff Central
- The 22:52 Aberdare to Cardiff Central
Replacement buses will run between Cardiff Central and Radyr via Fairwater.
Cardiff Central – Bridgend via Pontyclun:
Between 22:20 (Monday to Thursday) and 05:15 (Tuesday to Wednesday) / 05:50 (Thursday and Friday), trains that usually run between Cardiff Central and Bridgend via Pontyclun will be diverted to run via Barry, with extended journey times.
Replacement buses will run between Cardiff Central and Bridgend.
