Description of Incident
Engineering work is taking place between Mirfield and Stalybridge, closing various lines.
Northern
Trains between Leeds and Manchester Victoria / Wigan Wallgate will run to an amended timetable between Halifax and Todmorden.
Buses will replace trains between Lockwood and Huddersfield.
TransPennine Express
Saturday and Sunday:
No trains will call at Huddersfield. Diverted trains will additionally call at Brighouse.
Replacement buses will run between:
- Huddersfield and Stalybridge (2 per hour, calling at Slaithwaite, Marsden, Greenfield and Mossley)
- Huddersfield and Stalybridge (2 per hour, non-stop)
- Huddersfield and Brighouse (4 per hour, non-stop)
- Huddersfield and Wakefield Westgate (1 per hour, calling at Deighton and Mirfield)
An amended train service will run as follows:
Saturday:
- Liverpool Lime Street and Newcastle (additionally calling at Lea Green)
- Manchester Victoria and Redcar Central (additionally calling at Hebden Bridge and Sowerby Bridge)
- Manchester Victoria and Scarborough (additionally calling at Castleton)
- Leeds and Hull
- Wakefield Kirkgate and York
- Manchester Airport and Stalybridge
Sunday:
- Liverpool Lime Street and Newcastle (additionally calling at Lea Green)
- Manchester Airport and Redcar Central
- Manchester Victoria and Scarborough
- Leeds and Hull
- Wakefield Kirkgate and York
- Manchester Piccadilly and Stalybridge
Additionally on Saturday, the 03:20 Sheffield to Manchester Airport service will not call at Huddersfield, and the 23:13 Manchester Piccadilly to Sheffield service will start from Manchester Victoria at 22:24.
