Description of Incident
Heavy rain has caused flooding to the railway between Liskeard and Looe. This has meant that the line is closed.
As a result, trains are unable to run between these stations, and will be cancelled.
This is expected until the end of the day.
Rail replacement transport:
Rail replacement road transport is in operation between Liskeard and Looe.
Rail replacement transport may take longer and / or operate at different times to the train service, so please consider that when seeking to plan a journey involving connections.
Ticket acceptance:
You can use your ticket at no extra cost on Go Cornwall (Transport for Cornwall) bus route 73 between Liskeard and Sandplace, in both directions.
Additional information:
Following an inspection, Network Rail have confirmed the water level is still too high to run trains safely – therefore the line remains shut.
