Engineering work is taking place between Acton Bridge and Wigan North Western, closing some lines.
As a result, Northern trains which run between Manchester Victoria and Preston via Wigan North Western will be diverted to run via Chorley and Bolton, and will not call at Wigan North Western.
You should use alternative Northern services to / from Wigan North Western instead.
