Description of Incident
Engineering work is taking place between Lancaster and Oxenholme Lake District, closing some lines.
Between Lancaster and Barrow-in-Furness: Trains will not run for most of the day. The 20:46 Barrow-in-Furness to Lancaster service, and the 22:20 Lancaster to Barrow-in-Furness services will run as normally advertised.
Between Oxenholme and Windermere: Trains will not run.
Between Lancaster and Morecambe: Trains will not run.
Buses will be provided between:
- Preston and Barrow-in-Furness, calling at all stations except Silverdale and Arnside
- Preston and Windermere, calling at Lancaster and Kendal
- Oxenholme and Windermere, calling at all intermediate stations
- A mini-bus service will be provided between Lancaster and Arnside, calling at Bare Lane, Morecambe, Carnforth and Silverdale
