Description of Incident
Engineering work is taking place between Manchester Victoria and Salford Crescent closing all lines.
Trains between Leeds and Chester will start / terminate at Manchester Victoria. Trains will call additionally at intermediate stations between Todmorden and Manchester Victoria.
Trains between Manchester Oxford Road and Southport and also between Clitheroe and Manchester Victoria will run to a reduced timetable.
A reduced service will run between Salford Crescent and Wigan Wallgate via Bolton.
You can use the following at no extra cost:
- Transport for Wales services Manchester Piccadilly and Chester via Earlestown
- TransPennine Express services between Manchester Piccadilly and Stalybridge
- Local bus services between Manchester and Salford Crescent
