Description of Incident

Engineering work is taking place between Colchester and Clacton-on-Sea/Walton-on-the-Naze, closing all lines.

As a result the following amendments will apply:

  • The 22:56 Colchester to Walton-on-the-Naze service will be diverted to terminate at Clacton-on-Sea. A rail replacement bus service will run between Clacton-on-Sea and Walton-on-the-Naze, calling at Kirby Cross and Frinton-on-Sea.
  • The 23:18 London Liverpool Street to Clacton-on-Sea service will terminate at Colchester. A rail replacement bus service will run between Colchester and Clacton-on-Sea, calling at Hythe, Wivenhoe, Alresford, Great Bentley and Thorpe-le-Soken.
