Routes affected:

Between London Paddington and Exeter St Davids / Paignton / Plymouth / Penzance, and between Westbury and Frome / Weymouth

Description of Incident

Engineering work is taking place between Westbury and Frome / Bruton, closing various lines.

Saturday

From approximately 22:10 until 23:50 Saturday evening, buses will replace trains between Westbury and Frome.

Sunday

From approximately 09:00 until 22:00, buses will replace trains between Westbury and Frome / Castle Cary.

Services between London Paddington and Exeter St Davids / Plymouth / Penzance will run to a reduced service of one train per hour, and will divert between Reading and Taunton via Bristol Temple Meads. These trains will not call at Newbury, Hungerford, Pewsey, Westbury, or Castle Cary.

Services between London Paddington and Paignton will not run.
