Description of Incident

Engineering work is taking place between Reading West and Bedwyn, closing some lines.

The following services are affected:

  • The 05:08 Reading to Bedwyn service will not run. A replacement bus service will run from Reading to Newbury, departing earlier than usual at 04:55 and calling at all stations. You can use the below train to complete your journey.
  • The 05:39 Reading to Bedwyn service will depart later than usual at 05:56. This servicve will not call at Reading West, Theale, Aldermaston, Midgham, Thatcham, or Newbury Racecourse.
  • The 06:08 Bedwyn to Reading will start from Newbury at 06:25. A replacement bus service will run from Bedwyn to Newbury, departing earlier than usual at 05:30.
  • The 06:35 Bedwyn to Newbury service will depart later than usual at 06:38.
  • The 06:58 Newbury to London Paddington service wil depart later than usual at 07:00.
