Description of Incident

Engineering work is taking place between Newbury and Westbury, closing all lines.

Monday evening:

The 21:57 and 22:47 Newbury to Bedwyn services will not run and will be replaced by road transport, calling all stations.

The 22:30 London Paddington to Bedwyn will terminate at Newbury. Road transport will run from Newbury to Bedwyn, calling at all stations.

The 22:25 Bedwyn to Newbury service will not run and will be replaced by earlier road transport, calling all stations.

The 23:17 Bedwyn to Reading will start from Newbury. Earlier road transport will run from Bedwyn, Hungerford and Kintbury to Newbury to connect into the train. There will also be road transport at 23:38 from Bedwyn to Reading, calling Hungerford and Kintbury, then setting down only at Newbury, Thatcham and Reading.

Newbury – Bedwyn:

Replacement buses will run between Newbury and Bedwyn.

An amended train service will run between London Paddington / Reading and Newbury.

For travel between Newbury / Bedwyn and Westbury, you should travel via Reading

Swindon – Westbury:

As a result of train diversions, most local train services between Swindon and Westbury will be replaced by buses. Rail connections are available between Swindon and Chippenham.

Long distance services:

Trains that run between London and South West England that usually run via Newbury will be diverted to run by alternative routes.
