Description of Incident

Engineering work is taking place overnight in the Oxford area, closing some lines.

The 21:53 London Paddington to Worcester Shrub Hill will call additionally at Didcot Parkway. It will then divert between Didcot Parkway and Worcester Shrub Hill (via Swindon and Cheltenham Spa – not calling at either).
Rail connections are available from Didcot Parkway to Oxford, for road transport from Oxford to Hanborough, Charlbury, Shipton, Kingham, Moreton-in-Marsh, Honeybourne, Evesham, Pershore, Worcestershire Parkway and Worcester Shrub Hill.

The 22:00 Hereford to London Paddington will terminate Worcester Shrub Hill (and restart at Oxford). There is no connection between the two parts of the train. Road transport from Worcester Shrub Hill to Worcestershire Parkway, Pershore, Evesham, Honeybourne, Moreton-in-Marsh, setting down only at Kingham, Charlbury, Hanborough and Oxford. Note there will be no rail connection towards London Paddington.

The 22:31 (departing 22:39) Didcot Parkway to Banbury will terminate Oxford. A replacement bus will depart at 23:10 from Oxford to Tackley, Heyford, Kings Sutton Village Square and Banbury. Road journey time from Oxford to Banbury is 70 minutes.

The 22:51 London Paddington to Worcestershire Parkway will terminate Oxford. A replacement bus will be provided from Oxford, calling at Hanborough, Charlbury, Kingham, Moreton-in-Marsh, Honeybourne, Evesham, Pershore and Worcestershire Parkway.

The 23:34 Banbury to Oxford will not run and will be replaced by a bus, departing at 23:34 from Banbury to
Kings Sutton Village Square, Heyford, Tackley and Oxford. Road journey time from Oxford to Banbury is 70 minutes.
