Description of Incident
Engineering work is taking place overnight between Cardiff Central and Bridgend and also between Bridgend and Port Talbot Parkway, closing some lines.
Monday to Thursday:
- The 20:48 London Paddington to Swansea will divert between Cardiff Central and Bridgend (via Ninian Park – NOT calling) departing Bridgend and
beyond a few minutes later than normal. On Wednesday and Thursday the train will incur a few minutes additional journey time between Bridgend
and Port Talbot Parkway. - The 21:48 London Paddington to Swansea will use this route as normal (via Ninian Park – NOT calling). On Wednesday and Thursday the train will
incur a few minutes additional journey time between Bridgend and Port Talbot Parkway. - The 22:49 London Paddington to Swansea (also diverted between Swindon and Bristol Parkway) will divert between
Cardiff Central and Bridgend (via Ninian Park – NOT calling) departing Bridgend and beyond later than normal. On Wednesday and Thursday the
train will incur a few minutes additional journey time between Bridgend and
Port Talbot Parkway.
Tuesday to Friday:
- The 03:46 Swansea to London Paddington will arrive / depart Bridgend a few minutes later than normal. Normal timings departing Cardiff Central and
beyond.
