Description of Incident

Engineering work is taking place between Cardiff Central and Bridgend, closing some lines overnight from Monday evening until Friday morning.

Monday to Thursday:

  • 20:48 London Paddington to Swansea will divert between Cardiff Central and Bridgend (via Ninian Park – not calling) arriving / departing Bridgend and beyond a few minutes later than normal
  • 21:48 London Paddington to Swansea will divert between Cardiff Central and Bridgend (via Barry – not calling) arriving / departing Bridgend and beyond later than normal
  • 22:49 London Paddington to Swansea will divert between Cardiff Central and Bridgend (via Barry – not calling) arriving / departing Bridgend and beyond later than normal

Tuesday to Friday:

  • 03:46 Swansea to London Paddington will depart earlier at 03:38. It will arrive / depart Neath, Port Talbot Parkway and Bridgend a few minutes earlier than normal before diverting between Bridgend and Cardiff Central (via Barry – not calling). It will run to normal timings departing Cardiff Central and beyond
