Description of Incident

Engineering work is taking place in the Bristol Parkway area, and also between Cardiff Central and Bridgend / Swansea, closing various lines overnight from Monday evening until Friday morning.

Monday and Tuesday:

The following trains will run 8 minutes later than usual between Bridgend and Port Talbot Parkway:

  • The 20:48 London Paddington to Swansea service
  • The 21:48 London Paddington to Swansea service
  • The 22:49 London Paddington to Swansea service

Monday to Thursday:

The following trains will be diverted between Cardiff Central and Bridgend, extending journey times:

  • The 20:48 London Paddington to Swansea service
  • The 22:49 London Paddington to Swansea service

Additionally, the 22:49 London Paddington to Swansea service will be diverted between Swindon and Bristol Parkway, calling additionally at Chippenham and Bath Spa and further extending journey times.

Thursday and Friday:

The 03:46 Swansea to London Paddington service will call at Bridgend slightly later than usual.
