Description of Incident
Engineering work is taking place until 12:00 between Cardiff Central and Bridgend, closing some lines.
From London Paddington direction:
The 08:33 London Paddington to Swansea will depart earlier at 08:28 and will divert between Cardiff Central and Bridgend (via Barry – not calling), arriving / departing Bridgend and beyond approximately 35 minutes later than normal.
The 08:58 Bristol Parkway to Swansea will divert between Cardiff Central and Bridgend (via Barry – not calling), arriving / departing Bridgend and beyond approximately 25 minutes later than normal.
The 09:31 London Paddington to Carmarthen will depart earlier at 09:28 and will divert between Cardiff Central and Bridgend (via Barry – not calling) arriving / departing Bridgend and beyond approximately 30 minutes later than normal. It will terminate Swansea. A separate train will operate from Swansea to Carmarthen. No connection between the two trains.
To London Paddington:
The 07:55 Swansea to London Paddington will divert between Bridgend and Cardiff Central (via Barry – not calling). Later than normal timings arriving / departing Cardiff Central and beyond.
The 08:35 Swansea to London Paddington will not run.
The 09:23, 10:22 and 11:23 Swansea to London Paddington will depart earlier than normal and will divert between Bridgend and Cardiff Central (via Barry – not calling). Normal timings departing Cardiff Central, Bristol Parkway and Swindon. They will arrive / depart Reading and arrive London Paddington a few minutes later than normal.
The 09:55 Bristol Parkway to London Paddington will depart earlier at 09:35.
