Description of Incident

Engineering work is taking place overnight between Cardiff Central and Bridgend, closing some lines.

The following services are affected:

  • The 20:48 London Paddington to Swansea service will divert between Cardiff Central and Bridgend via Ninian Park. This service will run approximately 10 minutes later than usual between Bridgend and Port Talbot Parkway.
  • The 21:48 London Paddington to Swansea service will divert via Cardiff Central and Bridgend via Ninian Park. This service will run approximately 10 minutes later than usual between Bridgend and Port Talbot Parkway.
  • The 21:49 London Paddington to Swansea service will be diverted between Swindon and Bristol Parkway via Chippenham / Bath Spa, and between Cardiff Central and Bridgend via Ninian Park. This service will run approximately 10 minutes later than usual between Bridgend and Poty Talbot Parkway.
