Description of Incident

Engineering work is taking place overnight between Bristol Parkway and Severn Tunnel Junction, closing some lines.

The following services will divert between Newport (South Wales) and Bristol Parkway via Gloucester:

  • The 19:20 Carmarthen to London Paddington service (please note, this service now starts at Swansea)
  • The 19:24 Swansea to London Paddington service
  • The 19:45 London Paddington to Swansea service
  • The 20:45 London Paddington to Swansea service
  • The 21:45 London Paddington to Swansea service

Journey times towards Swansea will be extended by up to 60 minutes between Gloucester and Newport (South Wales).

Journey times towards London will be extended by up to 45 minutes between Gloucester and Bristol Parkway, increasing up to 60 minutes between Bristol Parkway and Swindon whilst the train changes the direction of travel.
