Description of Incident

Engineering work is taking place between Reading and Theale, closing some lines early on Sunday morning.

As a result:

  • The 07:51 (departing 07:47) London Paddington to Penzance service will be diverted between Reading and Westbury, not calling at Newbury or Pewsey. For Newbury, you should travel on later train services. For Pewsey, you should travel on the 08:44 London Paddington to Penzance service, with will additionally call at Pewsey.
  • The 08:06 Reading to Newbury service will be replaced by an earlier bus, starting at 07:55 from Reading and running to Newbury, calling at all stations except Newbury Racecourse.
  • The 08:33 Reading to Bedwyn service will start from Newbury at 08:56 (connecting with the 07:55 Reading to Newbury bus, see above).
