Description of Incident
Engineering work is taking place at various locations between London Paddington and Reading, closing some lines.
Elizabeth line:
Sunday:
Before 07:40:
No trains will operate between Ealing Broadway and London Paddington.
After 07:40:
- Services between Abbey Wood and Maidenhead will run between Abbey Wood and London Paddington only
- Services between Abbey Wood and Heathrow Terminal 4 will run to a reduced timetable of 2 trains per hour
- Maidenhead, Burnham, Slough, Langley and West Drayton will have a reduced service of 2 trains per hour
- Hayes & Harlington, Southall and Ealing Broadway will have a reduced service of 6 trains per hour
- Heathrow Terminals 2 & 3 will have a reduced service of 4 trains per hour
- No trains will call at Acton Main Line, Hanwell or West Ealing
- Trains between Abbey Wood and Reading will now call at Iver
Great Western Railway:
The following services are affected:
Saturday:
- The 00:02 London Paddington to Reading service will not call at Burnham or Taplow
- The 00:19 Reading to London Paddington service will not call at Taplow or Burnham
- The 00:45 London Paddington to Reading service will not call at Burnham or Taplow
- The 23:45 Didcot Parkway to London Paddington service will terminate at Ealing Broadway
Replacement bus services will run between Taplow and Slough.
You should use London Underground services between Ealing Broadway and Central London to complete your journey.
Sunday:
Most trains will be retimed to run up to 9 minutes earlier or later than normal.
Additionally:
- The 06:20 Reading to London Paddington service will depart later than usual at 06:38, and will continue to run later throughout
- The 06:38 London Paddington to Didcot Parkway service will start from Ealing Broadway
- The 07:37 Reading to Basingstoke service will not run. A replacement bus service will run from Reading to Basingstoke, departing at 07:20 and calling at Reading Green Park, Mortimer, and Bramley
- The 08:06 Basingstoke to Reading service will depart later than usual at 08:12 and will continue to run later throughout
You should use London Underground services between Central London and Ealing Broadway to complete your journey.
If you are travelling to / from Reading West, you should use alternative services.
Heathrow Express:
Sunday:
No trains will run before 07:20.
After 07:20, trains will run to an amended timetable until the end of the day.
