Description of Incident

Engineering work is taking place between Swindon and Bristol Parkway, closing some lines overnight from Monday evening until Friday morning.

As a result, the 23:42 Swindon to Cheltenham Spa will start earlier than usual, and will be diverted between Swindon and Gloucester (via Bath Spa and Severn Tunnel Junction), and will not call at Kemble, Stroud or Stonehouse. The train will then terminate at Gloucester.

A replacement bus will run at 23:42 from Swindon to Cheltenham Spa, calling at Kemble, Stroud, Stonehouse (Town Hall) and Gloucester (disembark only).

For Gloucester, you should use the train where possible. For travel between Gloucester and Cheltenham Spa, you should travel by earlier train services.
