Description of Incident
Engineering work is taking place between Swindon and Gloucester, closing all lines overnight from Monday evening until Friday morning.
Monday to Wednesday:
The 23:42 Swindon to Cheltenham Spa service will be diverted between Swindon and Gloucester, not calling Kemble, Stroud or Stonehouse. It will call additionally at Bristol Parkway where it will change direction of travel. It will terminate at Gloucester. A replacement bus will run at 23:42 from Swindon to Kemble, Stroud, Stonehouse (Town Hall), Gloucester and Cheltenham Spa. If you are travelling between Swindon and Gloucester, you should use the train.
Thursday:
The 23:42 Swindon to Cheltenham Spa will be diverted between Swindon and Gloucester, not calling Kemble, Stroud or Stonehouse. It will call additionally at Bristol Parkway where it will change direction of travel. A replacement bus will run at 23:42 from Swindon to Kemble, Stroud and Stonehouse (Town Hall). This bus continues to Gloucester (set down only) and Cheltenham Spa. If you are travelling from Swindon to Gloucester / Cheltenham Spa, you should use the train.
