Description of Incident

Engineering work is taking place between London Kings Cross and Peterborough, closing all lines.

No trains will run between London Kings Cross and Peterborough all weekend.

Grand Central

Services between London Kings Cross and Bradford Interchange will not run.

Services between London Kings Cross and Sunderland will run between Peterborough and Sunderland. Replacement bus services will run between London Kings Cross and Peterborough to connect to these trains.

Great Northern / Thameslink:

No trains will run between London Kings Cross / London St Pancras International / Moorgate and Royston / Peterborough.

A shuttle train service will run between Royston and Cambridge / Ely / Kings Lynn.

Rail replacement buses will run between:

  • Peterborough and Bedford via St Neots
  • Peterborough and Hitchin
  • Royston and Hitchin
  • Stevenage and Hertford North
  • Hertford North and Alexandra Palace
  • Stevenage and St Albans City via Welwyn Garden City
  • Stevenage and Luton Airport Parkway via Hitchin
  • Alexandra Palace and Welwyn Garden City
  • Cockfosters and Potters Bar via Hadley Wood

Ticket acceptance:

Your tickets will be accepted on Thameslink services between Bedford and London, and on Greater Anglia services between Cambridge North / Hertford East and London Liverpool Street.

Paper rail tickets will be accepted on:

Elizabeth Line services between Farringdon and London Liverpool Street

London Bus services between:

  • New Barnet and High Barnet
  • Moorgate and Drayton Park
  • Kings Cross / Finsbury Park and Alexandra Palace

London Underground services between:

  • Kings Cross St Pancras and Cockfosters / Tottenham Hale / London Liverpool Street
  • Moorgate and High Barnet

Hull Trains

A reduced service will run to / from London St Pancras International.

As a result there will be no Hull Trains service at Beverley / Cottingham / Doncaster / Retford / Grantham or Stevenage.

LNER

Across the LNER network, trains will run to amended / reduced timetables.

Replacement bus services will run between Bedford and Peterborough.

Lumo

Services between London Kings Cross and Edinburgh will run a reduced service. Replacement bus services will run between London Kings Cross and Peterborough to connect to some train services.

Saturday

  • The 05:36 Edinburgh to London Kings Cross service will terminate at Newcastle
  • The 05:48 London Kings Cross to Edinburgh service will start from Newcastle
  • The 12:56 Edinburgh to London Kings Cross service will terminate at Peterborough
  • The 15:48 London Kings Cross to Edinburgh service will start from Peterborough

Sunday

  • The 08:52 London Kings Cross to Edinburgh service will start from Newcastle
  • The 13:56 Edinburgh to London Kings Cross service will terminate at Peterborough
  • The 16:24 London Kings Cross to Edinburgh service will start from Peterborough
