Description of Incident
Engineering work is taking place between London Kings Cross and Potters Bar, closing some lines.
Grand Central:
All weekend trains will be diverted via Hertford North extending journey times.
Saturday
The 09:55 Sunderland to London Kings Cross and the 1427 London kings Cross to Sunderland will not run.
Sunday
The 12:13 Sunderland to London Kings Cross and the 16:53 London Kings Cross to Sunderland will not run.
The 15:59 Bradford Interchange to London Kings Cross and the 18:53 London Kings Cross to Bradford interchange will not run.
Great Northern and Thameslink:
All day on Saturday and Sunday, buses will replace trains between Alexandra Palace and Stevenage via Welwyn Garden City, and between St Albans City and Stevenage.
Trains to / from London Kings Cross will run to a revised and reduced service. Trains to / from the North will divert between London Kings Cross and Stevenage via Hertford North.
Ticket Acceptance:
Your tickets will be accepted on Thameslink services between London stations and St Albans City and on Greater Anglia services between London Liverpool Street and Hertford East.
Paper tickets will be accepted on London Underground services between Kings Cross St Pancras and Cockfosters / Tottenham Hale / Liverpool Street, and between Moorgate and High Barnet, on Elizabeth Line services between Farringdon and London Liverpool Street, and on London Buses between New Barnet and High Barnet.
Hull Trains:
Trains will be diverted to run via Hertford North, extending journey times by around 15 minutes.
LNER:
Saturday and Sunday
LNER will run three trains per hour from / to London Kings Cross via a diversionary route between London Kings Cross and Stevenage.
Northbound services will depart London Kings Cross approximately 15 minutes earlier than normal.
Lumo:
Saturday and Sunday
No trains from / to London Kings Cross. A reduced service will operate between Newcastle and Edinburgh only.
