Latest flood alert advice from the Environment Agency: River levels remain high at the Mythe Bridge river gauge because of recent rainfall. We expect flooding to affect properties and roads in and around Severn Ham, Tewkesbury. Observed peaks:- Mythe 4.12m and Tewkesbury Upper Pound 4.11m on 11/12/2024. No significant rainfall is forecast. We expect river levels to remain high over the next few days. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are liaising with emergency services and Local Authorities. Please avoid low lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded, and avoid contact with flood water. This message will be updated by 11am Friday, 13/12/2024, or as the situation changes.
